We feel very strongly at this time we can be of great assistance to the present situation. We must all creatively enhance the cleanliness of our home and business environments. Safety and continued prosperity must be our top priority. Through the years, Citrus Carpet & Tile Cleaning has offered disinfection and sanitization services in many ways. Currently, one of the most valuable services we offer is the application of a patented EPA registered antimicrobial coating.
How do antimicrobial coatings work?
Antimicrobial coatings work in conjunction with your continued cleaning practices. These coatings utilize innovative residual Nanotechnology like using Rain-X or Scotchgaurd and can be used for porous and non-porous surfaces. Antimicrobial coatings use positively charged polymers that destroy a microbe’s cell wall upon contact. Polymers are more durable compared to traditional disinfectants. Its also important to note that antimicrobial coatings are safe and will never cause harm to pets, people, or the environment.
Traditional disinfectants just poison microbes. Common disinfectant sprays and wipes allow pathogens to evolve, mutate, and lose their effectiveness. Our protective coating kills pathogens mechanically. The coating is like laying down a protective bed or layer of nails that puncture the pathogens on impact. This prevents different pathogens from evolving into different strains. Our mechanical kill prevents the spread of pathogens and safely protects the area for up to 90 days. Antimicrobial coatings provide long lasting results to prevent the spread of cold or flu in your home or business.
How does the disinfection process work?
Pre-staging – It is best to have the home or business as clean as possible before our process begins. Also, try to expose surfaces and objects that are touched the most on a consistent basis. We will also provide guidance and assistance upon arrival.- Pathogen Reset – Using industrial fogging machines, we apply a broad spectrum disinfectant that effectively kills 99.97% of pathogens on surfaces.
- Residual Protection – After we have sanitized the surface, we apply an EPA registered disinfectant coating that
mechanically kills pathogens that land on surfaces and lasts up to 90 days. - Certification – Citrus Carpet & Tile Cleaning will provide a “Certificate of Sanitization” that can be displayed to give your customers or residents peace of mind that you have done everything possible to provide a safe living environment.
